1. Who we are

2. Information we collect
Account and profile
When you register, we collect your phone number and may collect your email address, name, and profile photo. Drivers must provide additional information for verification before going online.
Location
With your permission, we collect device location to match rides, show live trip tracking, provide navigation, and operate package delivery workflows. Riders share location during active trips. Drivers share location while online and during active trips, food deliveries, and package jobs.
Trips and deliveries
We process pickup and drop-off locations, routes, fares, tips, ratings, cancellation records, and in-trip communications. Package deliveries may include receiver contact details and proof-of-delivery photos uploaded by drivers.
Driver verification (Eazer Driver only)
We collect National Identification Number (NIN), selfie and liveness images, ID documents, vehicle details, and vehicle registration documents. Verification may be processed through third-party providers such as Smile ID.
Face data (Eazer Driver only)
During driver onboarding, the Eazer Driver app uses your device camera for live identity verification only. On supported Apple devices, our identity verification provider (Smile Identity) may use ARKit and the TrueDepth camera on your device to confirm that a live person is present and to guide you during a live selfie capture (for example, face-in-oval positioning and liveness prompts).
What we collect: We do not collect, store, or transmit raw TrueDepth depth maps or facial geometry data. We collect standard two-dimensional photographs only: one selfie image and a short series of liveness frame images captured during the verification session.
Why we collect it: Solely to verify driver identity before account approval — to confirm liveness (anti-spoofing), match your selfie to your uploaded ID document and identity record, prevent fraud, and protect platform safety. Face data is not used for advertising, marketing, entertainment, emotion analysis, rider profiling, or any purpose unrelated to driver verification.
Sharing and storage: Selfie and liveness images are uploaded to Eazer's secure backend and stored in Amazon Web Services (S3) as part of your driver KYC profile. They are also shared with Smile Identity for identity verification processing. We do not sell face data.
When it is collected: Only when you actively start the live selfie step in Identity Verification during driver onboarding. Face verification is not used during normal driving or ride operations.
Payments and payouts
Payment card and wallet transactions are processed by Paystack and other payment partners. We store transaction references, wallet balances, and bank account details drivers provide for earnings withdrawals. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
Device and usage
We collect push notification tokens, app version, and diagnostic data needed to operate the service. Session tokens are stored securely on your device.

4. Legal bases (where applicable)
We process data to perform our contract with you, with your consent (e.g. location, camera, push notifications), and where necessary for legitimate interests such as security and fraud prevention.
5. Third-party service providers
- Paystack — payments, wallet top-ups, and bank verification
- Termii — SMS one-time passwords where enabled
- Amazon Web Services (S3) — secure storage for photos and documents
- Google Maps — maps, routing, and geocoding
- Smile ID — driver NIN and biometric verification (where enabled)
- Apple Push Notification service / Firebase Cloud Messaging — push alerts
- Real-time messaging infrastructure — in-app chat and trip coordination
6. International transfers
Eazer is operated by Crystallux Group Inc. and serves markets including Nigeria and Canada. Your data may be processed where we or our providers maintain infrastructure, with appropriate safeguards in place.
7. Retention
We retain account data while your account is active. Trip and financial records may be kept longer for accounting, tax, dispute resolution, or legal compliance. When you delete your account, we deactivate access and delete or anonymize personal data where retention is not legally required.
Face data (Eazer Driver): Selfie and liveness images collected for driver verification are retained while your driver account is active and as needed for fraud prevention, safety investigations, dispute resolution, and legal compliance. When you delete your driver account, we delete or anonymize this data where retention is not legally required. Verification results processed by Smile Identity are subject to Smile Identity's retention practices as our service provider.
8. Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), access controls, and secure cloud storage. Please protect your login credentials and report suspicious activity to support@eazer.com.
9. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data.

10. Children
Eazer ride-hailing services are not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
11. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date.
