Junior Mobile Application Developer

Eazer is a digital marketplace and delivery platform that connects shoppers, merchants and driver partners. Through the Eazer App, customers can shop for food, groceries, fashion, beauty products, electronics and other everyday items from trusted local businesses. Role Summary The Junior Mobile Application Developer will support the design, development, testing and maintenance of Eazer’s mobile applications. The successful candidate will work closely with senior developers, designers, product managers and quality-assurance team members to build reliable, secure and user-friendly mobile experiences for shoppers, merchants and driver partners. This role is suitable for an early-career developer who is eager to learn, solve problems and contribute to a growing technology platform. Key Responsibilities Mobile Application Development * Assist in developing and maintaining Eazer’s Android and iOS applications. * Build new mobile features under the guidance of senior developers. * Write clean, reusable and well-structured code. * Convert user-interface designs into functional mobile screens. * Integrate mobile applications with backend systems and application programming interfaces. * Support features such as account registration, product browsing, order placement, payments, notifications, location tracking and delivery updates. * Improve application performance, speed and reliability. Testing and Quality Assurance * Test new features before release. * Identify, investigate and fix application bugs. * Support device testing across different screen sizes and operating-system versions. * Work with quality-assurance team members to reproduce and resolve reported issues. * Write basic unit, integration and user-interface tests where required. * Help ensure that application updates meet Eazer’s quality standards. Maintenance and Technical Support * Monitor application performance and error reports. * Support the resolution of technical issues affecting shoppers, merchants and driver partners. * Assist with application updates and releases to Google Play Store and Apple App Store. * Maintain technical documentation for features and code changes. * Review existing code and suggest practical improvements. * Follow established version-control, code-review and deployment processes. Team Collaboration * Work closely with product managers to understand feature requirements. * Collaborate with user-interface and user-experience designers. * Participate in planning meetings, stand-ups and code reviews. * Communicate development progress, challenges and delivery timelines clearly. * Learn from senior developers and apply feedback to improve code quality. * Support other technology tasks assigned by the development team. Security and Data Protection * Follow secure coding practices. * Protect customer, merchant and driver information. * Assist in implementing secure authentication and data-storage methods. * Report possible security vulnerabilities to the technology lead. * Follow Eazer’s privacy, security and access-control policies. Required Qualifications * Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field. * Relevant coding bootcamp or practical mobile-development training may also be considered. * Zero to two years of professional mobile application development experience. * A portfolio, school project, internship or personal application demonstrating mobile-development skills. * Basic understanding of mobile application architecture and development life cycles. Technical Skills Candidates should have experience with one or more of the following: * Flutter and Dart. * React Native and JavaScript or TypeScript. * Kotlin for Android development. * Swift for iOS development. * REST APIs and JSON. * Git and GitHub, GitLab or Bitbucket. * Firebase or similar mobile services. * Local storage and mobile databases. * Push notifications and location services. * Basic software testing and debugging tools. Experience with e-commerce, delivery, logistics, maps, payments or real-time tracking is an advantage.
